GOLF
Free play
Nine holes, or a three-hole duel on your duel record. Solo rounds go on golf’s own daily board below — bragging rights, like every board here.
GOLF
How to play
Aim, pick a club, and swing in three taps: start, set power, then stop the needle at the centre line for a straight shot. Wind moves the ball in the air; rough and sand shorten it. On the green the view zooms in and hands you the putter.
- Solo is nine holes of stroke play. Duel is three holes on the arcade’s duel ledger: whoever takes your challenge plays the same holes and wind, and fewer strokes wins.
- Water and the black out-of-bounds add one penalty stroke and put the ball back where it was.
- A duel settles on your duel record like any cabinet’s. Golf rounds are reported rather than replayed, so they never move your rating.
The mulligan
One per round, in either mode, and free: undo your last shot, its penalty included, and play it again.
- Nine holes in Solo or three in Duel, one mulligan for the whole round. A new round is a new one.
- It can undo a holed shot before you advance, and it cannot undo anything after you have moved on or submitted.
