PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: August 20, 2026. This page describes what Webcade (webcade.fun, and the Webcade app) collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: no accounts, no email, no ads, no analytics trackers — the arcade keeps only what it needs to run fair games and pay prizes.

1. WHAT WE COLLECT

  • Wallet address. If you connect a Solana wallet, we store its public address. It identifies you on leaderboards, links your plays to your prizes, and is where payouts are sent. A public address is public by nature; we never see or ask for your private keys or recovery phrase.
  • Gameplay data. Scores, stages cleared, and the input log of each run (the sequence of moves you made). Input logs exist so the server can replay a run and verify its score — that verification is what keeps the leaderboard honest.
  • Profile details you choose to set. A nickname and avatar, if you create them. They are shown publicly next to your scores.
  • IP address. Used transiently for rate limiting and to stop one person claiming multiple leaderboard placements. Not used to identify who you are, not sold, not shared.
  • Telegram ID. Only if you use the Webcade Telegram bot or Mini App — Telegram tells us your numeric ID and display name so the bot can respond to you and link your plays. We never see your phone number.

2. WHAT WE DON'T COLLECT

No email addresses, no passwords, no real names, no contact lists, no location beyond what an IP inherently implies, no device fingerprinting, no advertising identifiers. The site runs no third-party analytics and shows no ads.

3. COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE

Webcade uses your browser's local storage for functional state only — things like your wallet session, sound preference, and sign-in channel. There are no tracking cookies and no cross-site anything.

4. THE BLOCKCHAIN PART

Prize payouts are Solana transactions. Anything written to a public blockchain — your address, amounts received — is permanent, public, and outside anyone's ability to delete, including ours.

5. SHARING

We do not sell or rent any data to anyone. Data is shared only with the infrastructure that runs the service (our hosting provider, and Solana RPC providers when sending transactions), and if the law compels it.

6. RETENTION & REMOVAL

Scores and leaderboard history are kept because they are the product. If you want your nickname or avatar removed, or your data deleted to the extent we hold any, contact us and we will handle it. On-chain records cannot be altered by anyone.

7. CHILDREN

Webcade is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe someone underage is using the service, contact us.
